♓🌈Venus enters Pisces: Making Magic Happen🌈♓

On February 25th, Venus will enter Pisces after its more austere transit through Aquarius since February 1st. Let's take a deeper look at what this bright eyed rainbow goddess now has in store, and what we just went through with Venus in Aquarius.

Venus was in Aquarius for basically all of February, and was there during the Mercury retrograde (which was also in Aquarius). Unfortunately, for Venus she on and off squared Mars (transiting in Taurus) as well as conjuncted Saturn (also in Aquarius). She also conjuncted Jupiter and squared Uranus in Taurus along the way.

Needless to say, the fixed sign areas of the zodiac (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio) are areas of intense activity right now. Saturn and Jupiter are now transiting in Aquarius squaring over to (longer term) Uranus transiting in Taurus. Venus moving through this space of Aquarius would have brought to light the divine feminine aspect in this astrological square party. Do you "go with the crowd" or invest in yourself? Are you valuing yourself...or undervaluing yourself? Did you need a reality check about what to do to get to where you need to be?

Taurus is fixed Earth and its practical and all about the Earthly pleasures: money, housing, material assets. Aquarius is fixed air and is all about the ideologies and ways we need to re-innovate to break free of constrictive molds from its predecessor, Capricorn. It invites in rebellion and new approaches to life. The ultimate paradox of these times, though (and I talk about this in my blog posts here and here) is that the astrological "home" of one sign is squatting in the other's house. Let's break that down further.

Taurus = fixed Earth, loves stability, tradition, and following a set path, ruled by Venus, an inner planet closely linked to Earth based realities

Aquarius = fixed Air, loves ingenuity, quirkiness, being different and unpredictable, ruled by Uranus, an outer planet of rebellion, weirdness, thinking and behaving differently, not conforming to norms

Uranus (the change maker, rebellion planet) is transiting in the space of strong, secure, stable, and traditional Taurus. Conversely, Saturn - the ultimate planet of tradition, stability, and Earth based realities- is transiting in Aquarius. That is a sign ruled by Uranus, Saturn's complete opposite.

Its strange times we live in, where up is now down, and sideways sometimes means backwards. It reminds me of that Bilbo Baggins quote, "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.” Old meets new, and new meets old -- in an intricate and bizarre dance of life.

With all of this intense focus on fixed signs in February, its a refreshing change to be moving planetary energies into Pisces. The Sun is already in Pisces and with Venus moving into Pisces, Mercury (now direct) will be playing catch up to get into Pisces too (later in March). Pisces is mutable water, and it represents the culmination of all the energies that came before it (12th and final sign of the zodiac). It embraces themes like oneness, spirituality, consciousness / unconsciousness, interconnectivity, compassion, empathy, and magic / manifestation.

Its a welcome relief and one we really need (I know this Virgo does!) It invites in more of the energy of change and less "holding" of energy and more "recycling" and transmuting of energy. Let's take a look at my top tips for this Venus in Pisces transit in effect until the Spring Equinox.

How can we best harness this Venus in Pisces transit?

🌈 Embrace the energy of MAGIC.

Venus in Pisces is an "exalted" Venus, meaning it does very well there. Venus loves to be in the energy of Neptune, which bathes in all things romance, togetherness, fantasy, music, and arts. This is a great time to revisit one of your favorite fantasy movies/books and just really savor in an appreciation for what all that world building really is. LOTR lovers and Potterheads unite!

P.S. This is also a good time for romance, fun fantasy dates, and overall allowing the energy of "healthy escapism". So put the popcorn on, and get a movie-ing!

🌈 Work on your MANIFESTATIONS.

Take out your Abraham Hicks Law of Attraction book and revisit those densely packed pages of The Kybalion. This is a great time to invest in your spiritual studies, whether its a new crystal bracelet you want to vibe with or simply a new oracle card deck to crush on - or better yet magical wisdom in pages untold (says my Libra moon haha).

🌈 Find ways to practice FORGIVENESS.

Pisces lovesssss some emotional healing and forgiveness work (its the part of the healing axis of the 6th and 12th houses after all), so this is a great time to allow your "I'm sorry we lost touch" moments and "I'm sorry I said that" experiences. Overall, its a time to just invite in that energy of healing, openness, compassion, and forgiveness.

If doing this with a person is not in the cards (or not safe or ideal for you to do), then you can create a simple love and forgiveness ritual as follows. Create a sacred space with soft lighting. Light a green or white candle and work with crystals in like colors- lately I am crushing on malachite, tree agate, and danburite. Call forth a mental image of the person you want to express forgiveness to and state your feelings out to them, in journal form or out loud. Then say "I love you (their name) and I am sorry things did not work out between us. I am now releasing this energy of bitterness in all forms in all dimensions of time and space. Amen, aho, and so it is."

You can also look into doing the Hawaiian Forgiveness Prayer for all around uplift in your life. This lifts your vibration to love and forgive yourself, and thereby everything and everyone around you.

🌈 Work on your HEART CHAKRA.
